Thanksgiving's Weekend

This year Thanksgiving was great. My mom made an awesome dinner and we got to be with the ones we love. Thursday was a busy day getting the meal together but it was so worth it. It was great to have dinner with my mom and sister Jill but also with Bob and Jimmy. Then we had Aunt Bev, Uncle Lance, Grandma, and Hannah over for dessert and you know Grandma does desserts right! :) Friday Jimmy and I slept in and then went out for a drive. It was great to avoid all the craziness of shopping and go back to Mingo Creek State Park. It is so pretty there and it was a great day to be outside in the sunshine. We had Quaker Steak for dinner and spent the evening study. Oh we know how to have a good time on a Friday night. Saturday I dragged Jimmy out of bed (and football retirement) for my family's Turkey Bowl. It was another beautiful day to be outside and the play was good. I have all the aches, pains, and bruises to prove it was a good game. So we had pizza and then a nap. Then Jimmy and I headed back to the North Hills to meet up with a few of my guy friends. It was just fun to be out and see Joe, Art, and Ryan. They are all good friends and they are sooooooooo funny! You all know how much Ryan loves his beer ~ or taking funny pictures. Sunday I got up to study some more then caught the Steelers game. It totally sucks that they lost so bad but it was fun to watch the game with Jill, Bob, Jimmy, and Lauren. I am so lucky to have such a cool family who I love being around. But that is pretty much my holiday/ weekend. Enjoy the pictures :)

Light Up Night

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! :) I had to great honor of going to Pittsburgh's Light Up Night with my super cool cousins. Hannah is my girl and Adam is always fun to be around. We went downtown on the T (we got the T~ we got the T) and got to take in all the wonder of the city. There were so many people there but we did manage to find a few that we knew. How cool to run into some Chapmans and the Musmanno Family. It was sooo much fun and there is nothing like feeling the power of the season. I am ready for Christams and ready for the most wonderful time of the year. Most of all I am hopeful that I will get to see many many people that I care about during the holiday season.

MY WEEKEND

Happy Birthday Dr. D. James Bonner!!!

I had such a fun weekend! :) I have totally loved taking advantage of a four day week and a three day weekend. This weekend started like most others ~ my Thursday fix of Grey's Anatomy and Dr. McDreamy. Then on Friday I headed out to the south hills for some shopping and studying with my real life Dr. McDreamy! Then we went out for a lovely dinner. After dinner I ended up playing Yatzee with my cousin Hannah and Aunt Bev. I do love going over to visit with them and just have fun with the family who loves me so much!! Double bonus ~ I got to see them all again on Saturday and do some shopping. On Saturday evening I was lucky enough to be invited to celebrate with Jimmy's family two birthdays. His dad's birthday is on Thursday and his sister-in-law's (Anna-Marie) is on Tuesday. They are both such wonderful people and I wish them all the best!!! So then on Sunday I made pork chops and watched the Steelers game. The loss was made bearable because I found Pudding Pops today!!! Well, that is my weekend recap ~ :) I hope everyone had a great weekend too!
