Thanksgiving's Weekend

This year Thanksgiving was great. My mom made an awesome dinner and we got to be with the ones we love. Thursday was a busy day getting the meal together but it was so worth it. It was great to have dinner with my mom and sister Jill but also with Bob and Jimmy. Then we had Aunt Bev, Uncle Lance, Grandma, and Hannah over for dessert and you know Grandma does desserts right! :) Friday Jimmy and I slept in and then went out for a drive. It was great to avoid all the craziness of shopping and go back to Mingo Creek State Park. It is so pretty there and it was a great day to be outside in the sunshine. We had Quaker Steak for dinner and spent the evening study. Oh we know how to have a good time on a Friday night. Saturday I dragged Jimmy out of bed (and football retirement) for my family's Turkey Bowl. It was another beautiful day to be outside and the play was good. I have all the aches, pains, and bruises to prove it was a good game. So we had pizza and then a nap. Then Jimmy and I headed back to the North Hills to meet up with a few of my guy friends. It was just fun to be out and see Joe, Art, and Ryan. They are all good friends and they are sooooooooo funny! You all know how much Ryan loves his beer ~ or taking funny pictures. Sunday I got up to study some more then caught the Steelers game. It totally sucks that they lost so bad but it was fun to watch the game with Jill, Bob, Jimmy, and Lauren. I am so lucky to have such a cool family who I love being around. But that is pretty much my holiday/ weekend. Enjoy the pictures :)

Oh Hope--how you love to take pictures! It's so great to see you so happy and having fun over the holiday weekend. I love that photo of you and Jimmy at the park with the trees behind you--it's so gorgeous!
And oh man--was that Baltimore loss ugly or what? we will have the chance to redeem ourselves on Christmas Eve--I'll be watching, even if it does mean neglecting my whole family in LA :) Can't wait to see you soon--hopefully before I head out of town! Love you!
